Bienvenido al febrero
So I’ve become addicted to myspace since I usually fire off a two-minute rant or rave while I’m looking for posties from my real life friends and family members in other parts of the country. Well, some are local, but you get the drift. I haven’t forgotten you all here on xanga, and I’m hoping to at least drop by once a week. The more writing I do that’s not school-related, the better I feel.
On that note, I’ve been dealing with some personal issues through my favorite therapy-method: poetry. Ahh, I’m sure some are hoping for my latest sequence of rhythmic words but I’m not quite ready to post anything yet. In fact, I’m considering another option. Normally around this year, I choose a poem, pay the stupid three dollar entry fee, and place it in the running for the Kansas Voices competition. I have decided not to waste my time. I think you might be hearing from me regarding a volume of poetry in the next few months.
Then I will probably post some excerpts both here and on myspace, since I wouldn’t expect anyone to want to buy a book of poems without an idea of the theme.
